You will be dazzled and amazed at the intriguing results you will get with Sulky 30 Wt. Cotton Blendables thread. These exciting, multicolor threads are a masterful blend of different colors within the same range of tone and intensity, with random, subtle color changes every 2-1/2 to 5 inches! No other thread does this! Our 30 Wt. Cotton thread is 1/3 thicker than your standard 40 Wt. quilting cotton. This allows your quilting or appliqué to stand out from the crowd! All Sulky Cotton Threads are premier quality, long staple, highly mercerized Egyptian cotton with a matte finish to create a soft, warm, natural look and feel. ALL our cotton thread comes from 100% Egyptian Cotton that is grown in Egypt. Most critical to its quality is that it is dyed and finished in Italy, which is why you see “Made in Italy” on the spool.

    Sulky, my love

Posted by ChristineW on Feb 2nd 2024

Too schmaltzy for you? I can’t help it. A 30 Wt Sulky cotton thread — especially a blendable — is ALWAYS the perfect thread for my hand-stitched projects. And I’ve got a bag-load!! But just as a Sulky cotton is always just what I needed, they also brighten my day when I find them in the mail. They’re the perfect little pick-me-up!

    Blendables 30 wt. thread

Very nice thread. The spool that it comes on is the problem. As the spool empties the thread starts to caught on the spool which stops the thread from feeding into the thread guides. This causes the thread to be pulled from the needle. You either have to change to a full spool or figure out a way to keep using the thread without it catching. I threaded through an extra guide. I’m not sure what someone would do if they didn’t have an additional guide. I didn’t want to waste a third of each spool.
