Help - I held the can too close to my fabric when I sprayed and now I have a stain, what do I do? Is it ruined?
Relax, no it's probably not ruined. You can use the denatured alcohol to remove the propellant stain (it's not the KK 2000 that left the spot, it's the propellant because the can was held too closely to the fabric and the propellant became too heavily concentrated). Test this on a scrap of fabric first. You can also try the product I recommended above, Goo-Gone, and dry cleaning will also remove the stain. Be sure to tell your dry cleaner what the stain is from. Show him the can. And ask him what dry cleaning fluid he uses. We know that PER (Perchlorethylene) works to remove this staining.
