In this overview session, samples will be shown in trunk show style to get your creative juices flowing about the possibilities for combining Sulky products with your embroidery ideas.

Machine Class Sessions
Everyone will create more than nine projects to learn firsthand the benefits of specific Sulky products and expand their embroidery skills. We'll use other exciting products in classroom demos - seeing is believing!

In this project, you will make a fun luggage tag while learning practical skills using two versatile stabilizers, Sulky Fuse 'n StitchTM and Sticky Fabri-SolvyTM. You'll also learn valuable appliqué techniques as well as in-the-hoop "construction".

Rayon - Facts and Fiction
See for yourself the real beauty of rayon in this project that pairs a natural fiber hanky with the most compatible and beautiful thread type. We will compare and contrast the differences between rayon and synthetic thread.

Continue building your lace skills - this time with Sulky Original Metallic Thread and Ultra Solvy. You'll create a stunning skeleton lace Aspen Leaf while gaining an understanding of metallic thread construction, digitizing and handling techniques.

Free-Standing Quilt Label

After this class, you can easily customize your creations with a professional label! We'll use an ordinary piece of broadcloth to create a clean-finished label that you will be proud to stitch to your finest work. We'll use Fabri-Solvy to make a label with a completely overcast border. You can use this technique to make your own patches and emblems too! You'll also learn how to create beautiful small lettering with Sulky PolyLiteTM 60 wt. for extra clarity.


The Zen of Color Blending

This class combines the appeal of multi-colored Blendables® thread in a heavier, rich 30 weight. Learn the recommended techniques for working with this heavier thread to achieve maximum impact with the simplicity of running stitches. You'll learn the best stabilizer for working with a light-stitch-count on your stable guest towel project.'ll learn how to position various designs perfectly, even when re-hooping, using magical target stickers.

In this class you'll learn two skills - how to work with the dazzling HoloshimmerTM specialty metallic thread and how to extend your reach when embroidering a small item. We'll embroider a small napkin, and extend the reach for hooping by adhering it to a base of Sulky Totally StableTM, and personalize the napkin using the most eye-catching thread anywhere.

Relax - T-Shirt Embroidery is Easy with Sulky

In this class, choose one of our two design choices and embroider your own T-shirt while learning how to stabilize for perfect outlines without making the shirt look and feel like cardboard! You will also learn how to properly hoop a knit, and how to finish a knit for ultimate comfort and longevity.

Don't Stress Out - Hold it with Sticky+

Make a cute cosmetic tote while learning how to hold items that are impossible to hoop. You'll learn how to manipulate a variety of items to hold them securely under the needle for high-quality embroidery on seemingly difficult items. You will also learn how to use the grid lines on Sticky+ to align small items such as a bookmark.
