Odds & Ends Purse - Fabric

  1. Using the entire purse pattern (found on pull-out pattern sheet), cut one each of:
    fashion fabric lining
    (coordinating fabric) fleece.

  2. Use your fashion fabric or make the fabric for a front purse pocket by piecing together several scraps of contrasting fabrics. Press. Then cut out the front pocket from that fabric as well as fleece and lining, using the front-pocket cutting line on the purse pattern. Cut the optional back pocket from the fashion fabric or a contrasting fabric using the back-pocket cutting line on the purse pattern.

  3. Spray the wrong side of the main purse fabric with KK 2000 and place the fleece on it. To keep fabric from puckering, place one or two layers of Tear-Easy underneath any embroidery area. Use your favorite Sulky Threads to do decorative stitching or embroidery to highlight the fabric.
