5. Lay purse lining right side down on top of the whole sandwich. Pin. Sew all layers together around outside edge with a 1/4" seam allowance, leaving a 4" opening to turn through to the right side. Clip and notch curves. Turn right side out. Press. Topstitch with a Sulky Decorative Thread all the way around, which closes the opening at the same time. Fold flap down. There should be about one inch between the top of the front pocket and the fold of the flap. Press folded flap edge. Open out. Lay cut ends of cords on top of the press line. Stitch through cord several times, then fold flap back in place. Topstitch with a Sulky Decorative Thread 3/4" from the top of fold.

6. To help keep the purse closed, sew a snap in place. Add any extra buttons, pins and/or beads to enhance your purse.
