Construct the Wall Hanging
- Thread the machine with the Sulky Rayon or Sulky Cotton of your choice and do a decorative
or small zig-zag stitch on the edges of each piece.
- Sew the green sashing strips between the four squares, and add the outer border.
- Lay the backing wrong side up and spray with
Sulky KK 2000. Place the batting over the backing. Spray the wrong side of the appliqued poinsettias with
KK 2000 and place over the batting. Use a few pins to secure the corners throught the quilting process.
- Quilt as desired, using Sulky Sliver or Sulky Holoshimmer Thread through a 14/90 needle.
Hint: Sulky Polyester Invisible Thread in the bobbin makes free-motion work with Sliver much smoother.
- Bind and attach a hanger if desired.
